Unter den Arbeiten von Franz Boas finden sich zwei ältere Aufsätze mit Melodietranskriptionen (vgl. Boas 1887 und Boas 1888). Also some Hopi melodies (11) Das 1908 erschienene Buch Hopi Songs von Benjamin Ives Gilman enthält 17 Hopi-Melodien. by Gilman, or Gilmore.
