Updates for the WebApp
After some time without further development we recently released some new features of the WebApp. You may have noticed the renewed design, which besides the eye candy hopefully also provides a little more overview. This also includes a slightly improved usability with mobile devices, although there is still need for further development.
As for the technical part, the most important innovation is the facsimile display via IIIF-Standard. The image metadata is now either taken directly from the source (mostly Berlin State Library) or generated on the fly by our Digilib-Imageserver.
